Schack Art Center's WINTER UNWIND: Social and Emotional Learning with Vision Boards for Educators

WINTER UNWIND_ Social and Emotional Learning with Vision Boards.png

Visual art satisfies our need to create, construct, and enrich life experiences through images and tactile works. During this winter workshop, participants will explore and discover their intentions for 2021 and develop a creative way to incorporate social and emotional learning (SEL) into their classrooms.

On a daily basis, educators are relentlessly pressed to analyze both work and home situations; often at the cost of sacrificing long-term goals. Vision Boards are visual representations of your life’s goals, reflections, and dreams.

This workshop is designed to guide participants through my Intuitive Vision Board™ process, and learn a new technique to implement SEL into their classrooms. On Friday night participants will work hands-on to create their own vision boards in the comfort of their own homes. On Saturday morning, participants will share and learn ways to implement vision boarding with educators Hillary Shearer and Mari Atkinson within their classrooms as a creative start to the New Year.
